Challenge
A wide frontage where the driveway gate was only part of the boundary. Treating the gate and the fence as separate purchases is how properties end up with mismatched heights, different infill spacing and two finishes weathering at different rates.
Approach
One specification covered both. Post spacing, panel height, infill pitch and finish were set once and carried through the gate leaves and every fence bay, with the operator and conduit path planned before the first post went in.
Site
Deep lots and long runs mean more posts and more opportunities for the line to drift. We set the run before hanging the gate so the moving section aligns to a boundary that is already true.
Result
A continuous frontage where the gate is the operating part of one line, not a separate object bolted into a fence that does not match it.
