About the business
Access Experts 247 has been running service calls across South Florida for more than 15 years.
How long has Access Experts 247 been in business?
We have been operating in South Florida for over 15 years, growing from a small crew into a 15-plus technician operation across three counties. That history spans gate repairs, access control installations, roll-up doors, sliding glass doors and automatic commercial doors. When we arrive at your property, we are not learning on the job.
Are you licensed and insured to work in Miami-Dade County?
We are a registered Florida business entity with FEI/EIN number 82-4645103. We carry the insurance required to work on residential and commercial properties throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. If your property manager or HOA needs documentation, we can provide it before the job starts.
Do you handle both residential and commercial properties?
Yes, we work on both. Residential calls typically involve single-family gates, condo sliding doors and home access systems. Commercial calls cover warehouse roll-up doors, lobby automatic doors and multi-entry access control setups. The scope changes depending on the property; the response standard stays the same.
What areas do you serve beyond Miami-Dade?
We cover Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties from active dispatch locations in Margate and Sunny Isles Beach. There is no referral network involved. The same technicians who work Coral Gables also handle calls in Boca Raton and everywhere in between.
Scheduling and response
We answer calls 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including holidays.
How quickly can you respond to a service call?
We target a 45-minute arrival window from the moment a call is dispatched, at any hour, not just during standard business hours. The closest available technician is routed to your location, with Miami-Dade traffic and distance being the only real variables.
Are you available on weekends and holidays?
Yes, without exception. A gate that stops working at 11 PM on a holiday weekend gets the same dispatch treatment as a call placed on a Tuesday morning. We do not reduce crew size on weekends; technicians stay active across all three counties at all times.
How long does a typical gate repair take from start to finish?
Most repairs are completed in a single visit. Straightforward issues such as a sensor alignment, a limit switch reset or a loose motor connection typically take under an hour on site. More involved work, such as control board replacement or structural damage from a vehicle impact, takes longer. Calling ahead with a description of the problem helps us bring the right components the first time.
Service scope and parts
We service all major gate and access control brands, with no exclusions.
Do you service all gate brands, or only specific ones?
We work on all major gate brands without restriction. South Florida properties frequently have mixed equipment across multiple entry points, with different operators installed years apart by different contractors. We carry diagnostic tools and replacement parts for all common brands. If a gate has a nameplate, we can work on it.
Do your technicians carry parts on the truck?
Every truck is stocked with the components that fail most often: control boards, limit switches, loop detectors, motors, springs and sensors. That inventory is what allows us to close out most jobs in one visit. If a specialty part needs to be sourced, you will know at the diagnostic stage, not after an extended wait.
Can you repair a gate that was installed by a different company?
Yes. We handle third-party installations regularly. The original installer is not relevant to us. What matters is the brand of the operator, the condition of the hardware and the specific issue at hand. We run the same diagnostic process regardless of who originally put the system in.
Do you repair access control systems as well as gates?
Access control, including keypads, card readers, intercoms and RFID entry systems, is part of our core service. We install, repair and reprogram them. If your gate is functioning but your access system is not, we can address that as a standalone call or combine it with gate service in a single visit.
Repair vs replacement and insurance
The decision comes down to component age, parts availability and corrosion level.
How do I know if my gate needs a repair or a full replacement?
If the operator is under ten years old and the structural frame is intact, repair is almost always the right call. Replacement becomes the better option when the motor housing is heavily corroded, the control board has failed more than once, or the manufacturer no longer produces parts for your model. We give you that assessment at the diagnostic stage, before any work begins.
My gate was hit by a vehicle. Do you work with insurance claims?
We do. Damage from a vehicle impact is typically covered under homeowner or commercial property policies. We provide written documentation of what was damaged and a detailed repair estimate, which is the paperwork your adjuster needs to move the claim forward.
What happens if a part you install fails after the repair is done?
Every job we complete includes post-repair coverage for defects in parts or workmanship. If something we installed fails due to a defect or an installation issue, we return and address it at no additional charge. The specific terms vary by part and repair type, so ask your technician at close-out and they will explain exactly what is covered and for how long.
